Session 1: EQinIT 1st Session (EQinIT Certification – Module 1)
In the world of IT, technical skills alone are no longer enough. The EQinIT Certification Program equips you with the crucial emotional intelligence skills needed to excel in your role, enhance your professional relationships, and lead your team to new heights. This session will focus on Self-awareness and Self-regulation—key skills for recognizing and managing your emotions constructively to maintain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
Speaker: Titus Manuel, President of the Philippine Computer Society and the Information Systems Security Society of the Philippines, and Founding Chairman of the National Association of Data Protection Officers of the Philippines. With over 50 years in the IT industry, he has held numerous key roles including Chief Operations Officer, Director of Training and Marketing, HR Head, Facilities Manager, Lecturer, and Trainer in Digital Transformation, Risk Management, and Data Privacy Compliance.
Session 2: Cybersecurity: Executive Strategies for Risk and Resilience
This session will provide decision-makers and support groups with key strategies to mitigate risks, enhance resilience, and safeguard organizational assets. Topics will include the latest threat landscape, the importance of a proactive security culture, and effective incident response planning.
