Coronavirus has sparked a revolution in the work from home scenario. As the terror of Covid-19 continues to spread, many employers have already shifted to the Work-From-Home (WFH) set up, not only to avoid reduced productivity but because of its practicality. From all indicators, a large number of these employers will never shift back to tradition.
Immediately, tech companies have shifted focus to develop and enhance teleconferencing tools to make work from home more comfortable, productive and manageable than ever. However, there are missing pieces that deal with the major aspect of WFH – – – PEOPLE!
About the Speaker:
Mr. Manuel is a current Member of the Board of Trustees and a Two-time President of the Philippine Computer Society (PCS). He is the Founding Chairman of the National Association of DPOs of the Philippines (NADPOP). He is also a Founding Officer of the Information Systems Security Society of the Philippines (ISSSP). He was a former Senior Director for Administration and Human Resources for a large university in Metro Manila. He was a former Chairperson of the Advisory Council of the IT Management Services (ITMS) of the Philippines National Police.
He currently manages and partly owns an organization that developed an Automated Data Privacy Management Solutions (ADPRIMAS) that is available as Software as a Service (SaaS). ADPRIMAS provides the platform for Online Assessment Tool (OAT) for data privacy, business continuity, business digitalization as well as information security readiness.
